Our above ground Survivor Series tornado shelters are affordable safe rooms. They are designed to be safer and stronger than the industry standard on the market. To start with, our Survivor Series Safe Rooms are built with the same ¼” thick steel walls as our Fortress Series tornado shelters. They also have the same 300 +lb. door with 4” Structural Channel for more strength. In addition, each shelter comes with a high security Medco deadbolt lock and three 1” sliding latch locking system. Survivor Safe rooms go through the same testing at Texas Tech Wind Science and Research Center as our Fortress Series shelters. They pass all testing to withstand the 250mph winds associated with F5 tornadoes. Our Survivor Series units have pricing that is highly competitive with any competitor’s steel safe room.
